How was your Christmas and New Year?
Did you have a great time with your friends and families?
We did lots of Christmas events with our friends and went to Canada right after Christmas! Around the New Year, our friend visited us in Seattle.
We had a wonderful time over the winter break!
Today, I would like to talk about one of my favorite cities – Vancouver in Canada!
There are so many different kind of dim sums, but I especially recommend the dish in the picture which has black caviar on top!!!
Oh my goodness, this is amazingly delicious!!! Just by seeing the picture, it makes me hungry and I want to go and eat. hahaha.
Another one is the TELUS science world.
Since we have a membership, we can go there every time when we visit.
As some of you may know, Seattle and Vancouver are pretty close.
It’s only two and a half hours drive to the US-Canada border!
At the border, all you need is your passport, correct documents, and a smile:)
I think most people can go in to Canada easily.
My family and I have visited Vancouver three times in the last year!
We will go there again when my mom visits Seattle in May
(it seems like it will be a long vacation over Golden Week this year! Yeah!) So, here are my two favorite places in Vancouver!
The first one is a restaurant called “Kirin”.
They serve the tastiest dim sum I have eaten in my life!
They feature hands-on science shows and exhibitions of body, nature, or art. My three-year-old son loves playing with the water equipment there!
It is a good place to learn science and spend nice time with kids.
If you have a chance to visit Vancouver, I recommend to go and see these places! I hope all of you had a wonderful time over the winter break!!
